How to re-frame your story of coronavirus in 5 minutes

Last night, I was supposed to be on a flight heading to Fiji but instead I found out that one of my aunts got infected with the coronavirus.

In the UK like many countries, there is a massive strain on the health system so she has to just wait it out and stay at home. In the US kits cost 3000 dollars and not everyone can afford it.

The economy has crashed and jobs have been lost and it’s triggered a lot of fear, uncertainty and anxiety for most people.

So that’s why I wanted to be of service and help you re-frame your story of the coronavirus.

When we got our first case in Singapore, I thought it was something small and that it would blow over soon and at one point we had discharged over 70% of cases. My belief seems correct.

Then numbers in Spain, Italy and Germany skyrocketed, it became evident that this was going to last a long time. Many of my clients postponed workshops and there were global training freezes.

I started to be fearful, eventually that turned to angry and then frustration. Would I be able to continue to run my business? Would I be able to teach and coach and all the things that I love to do?

As a psychologist and coach I know that if I or we choose to stay in a situation of despair…
